Our experts will answer any technical questionHigh-performance Cobalt series vector network analyzers with a frequency range from 0.1 MHz to 20.0 GHz feature a reconfigurable measurement path with the capability to connect frequency extenders. Signal paths for connecting frequency extenders using detachable 3.5 mm jumpers are located on the front panel of the instrument. Additionally, there are connectors on the rear panel of the analyzers for transmitting control signals and power.
Measured parameters: S11…S44.
The instrument has four measurement ports and two test signal generators sharing a common reference. The presence of four measurement ports allows simultaneous measurement of sixteen scattering matrix elements of a four-port device with a single connection.
C4420 – a four-port device.
Vector network analyzers are designed for measuring complex transmission and reflection coefficients (scattering matrix elements) of multiport networks. They are intended to work with an external computer not included in the delivery set. For operation in automated test systems, vector network analyzers support remote control via COM, TCP/IP Socket protocols. The devices come with software intended for Windows OS operation. Upon request, software for operating the instrument with Linux OS is provided. Analyzers in the series differ in the number of measurement ports located on the front panel.
